I just did a doodle of something i kind of thought of after reading chapter 46 of Sansukh. Fili trying to be the best ghost wingman ever for Sam!

Two paraphrased quotes from Sansukh that go someway to explaining why I’ve drawn Hrera, Queen of Erebor, not in the prime of her years but with silver in her beard and wrinkles round her eyes: because so few of the dwarrows had a chance to grow old. So yeah here is everyone’s favourite prim and proper grandma wearing her mithril and diamonds (and smiling at some mischief her grandsons have got into).

Right things are about to get crazy here because it’s Eurovision and we’re going to attempt to cram 10 people into our not-enormous sitting room so I am posting the dwarrowdam now before everything gets swept away in a tide of glitter and madness.

Seeing as we had silver yesterday, it only seems appropriate to have the gold today: Frís, mother of Thorin, Frerin and Dís, in her wedding braids (which look incredible but are also incredibly uncomfortable)!
