ok i feel like im sending. a lot of asks. but probably my favorite part is just how done, D O N E aragorn is with legolas and gimli. they’re gazing after each other longingly and sighing; aragorn rolls his eyes. they’re banter-flirt-arguing; aragorn makes snarky commentary. they compete to see how many of their enemies they can kill, flirting and being ridiculously in love; aragorn just sighs and gives up. at least they’re not avoiding each other or pining anymore.

yikes chapter 35 was a doozy. i started crying and my roommate was very concerned (i showed her the last bit and the song and she understood how it utterly destroyed me). but i think 36 is worse because of all the reunions with family and im crying???? again?????? how are you so amazing at writing things that make me feel things, how. HOW.

35 is the chapter I will forever be both proud/guilty over, heh

AHHH thank for mentioning the Thranduil thingy…. that’s just such a huge moment for her, she isn’t TOTALLY made of anger and sads and pain, she can fucking USE her anger and what she’s learned from it – and beat an Elf twit over the head with it until he gets a clue heh

Hello to all of you singers and Sansûkh lovers!  It’s time to prepare for another group number.  It’s been a little while since the last time, so I’d like to get another idea of who might be interested.

The piece will be the Mourning Song which you can listen to by clicking Here!

This will be a smaller ensemble, so if you are interested in auditioning, please email me at iamnotanightlight@gmail.com by April 17th.

Once everyone interested has contacted me, I will send out an email with instructions for auditioning.  We will be looking for Sopranos, Mezzo Sopranos, Altos, and Tenor/Barritones.  I expect to have 3-4 voices per part.

one of your many re-read anons, i just got to chapter 30, and dain is telling thorin about how he misses the iron hills, and i can already hear “the iron hills for me” in my head and. aughghhhhhgghhdfhgjdkkjg. (also it’s bringing up all my homesickness feelings, as im away from my home for my first year of university, so im just. getting emotional)

I crammed a LOT of character motivation into those two big Stonehelm-and-Dain chats, I think. Possibly a bit too much!!
