poplitealqueen:

Evening, everyone!

Recently, my wacom tablet became unusable, and since I’ve considered upgrading for a while, I decided it isn’t worth it to pay close to a hundred bucks to get it working again. Times change!

I have my eyes set on a new, much nicer tablet, but unfortunately I don’t have the funds available to get it (I need to save up the money I have now, when I’m not paying for school or bills, and I don’t start my second job until May).

That’s where you all come in!

I may not have access to digital art stuff at the mo (unless I want to screw up my wrist using a mouse), but I definitely have traditional supplies that are just itching to be used. Therefore, I’ll be opening up commissions for that to save up money to buy this new tablet!

As it stands, I need about 80 dollars in all to purchase this (and that’s shipping included). So I have 8 commission slots open! Commissions will start at 10 dollars and we can negotiate them going higher. (Generally, more characters will cost more. Same with backgrounds and the like)

Fandoms I can work with:

-Star Wars

-Star Trek

-Tolkien

– Dragon Age

-And many more! Just ask!

I can draw your ocs as long as you provide at least 3 source images.

Mediums I can work with:

-paint (watercolor and acrylic)

-colored pencils

-charcoal

-ink (color and black)

And just in case there are some mighty generous souls out there…

I also have a paypal account that you can donate to!

Thank you so much for helping me to continue drawing, folks.

My interpretation on dwarvish axe dancing outfit.
This is my first fanart. I doodled now and than for my own entertainment but Sansûkh is the first to push me to do something.
When I first read of all the great and varied dwarrowdams and especially the axe dancing, the splendid jewel and vibrant colour of Mughal culture bumped into my mind. The great writings of determamfidd makes me wanna do something for this great writer that first made me fell in love with dwarrows.
I confess that before The Hobbit movie and reading Sansûkh I never did put too much thinking on dwarrows but Sansûkh shed new lights to my narrow mind.
I have great fun in drawing it and i like to think that I hear how the jewel cling when the dancer dances.
Sorry to determamfidd that I cannot draw better.
(Greatly referencing from Mughal badass dancer from deviant art Apsara-stock and the great and rich and marvellous jewels)

oh sweet MERCY

that is AMAZING – oh my god, you are truly awesome and skilled, WOW I am just so lost in this drawing and the scene you evoke in your description! THE DETAIL. ON HER OUTFIT. IS STAGGERING. I am gasping in awe here, this is so so beautiful

Do you know if the Sansûkh Podfic is going to use your songs (like you singing) for the parts where that shows up, or are they going to re-record them with the voice actors? (if this isn’t the right place to ask, I’m really sorry, and you don’t need to publish this – I’ll ask the actual tumblr, sorry to bother you)

I am 90% certain that they are going to be re-recorded, actually! Our musical director is the SUPERB @notanightlight, and she is the person to ask about the Sansukh Choir.

(but in a pinch, my recordings are there to use as a backing track/basis/rehearsal track, so there we go 🙂

I love how individualized your characters are in Sansukh!! Especially the OCs and characters with minimal canon development. They’re all different, with different personalities, abilities, and methods. We can see how characters affect each other (within family groups, mentors, etc) and how different events are dealt with by different characters. Go A+++ characterization by Dets!

*blushie blushie* THANK YOU NONNIE, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH

(aasdlhfgaljdhf you mentioned how the character’s different personalities affect and modify the behaviour of the others I worked so harrrrd on that and I am gonna squeak yup ok squeaking now…!)
