hey your links on the sansûkh master post are super broken. like all of them? maybe it’s just me but they lead to a broken link page. BUT ALSO ch 46 !!!!!!! so incredible!!!!! i read 46 then i am going back and rereading it all and it’s amazing how you have made the characters (esp gimli/thorin/frerin) have such consistent phrasing/reactions/manner of speaking that they seem so much like an actual real 3d person??? I’m not explaining it well but it’s fantastic and wonderful and and and !! thanks

Did you know you’ve already out written the original trilogy word count? All three LOTR books: 455,125 words. You: 518,318. You’ll most likely reach The LOTR trilogy plus the Hobbit at 550,147 words with the last four chapters, but I say aim high, out do that and the Silmarillion and write more than 680,262 words! We’re not ready to lose you and your lovely world yet!

Hmm. Considering that my chapters atm are averaging around 13-16K (let’s call it 16K to be on the safe side), then that means I probably have 64K left, at the most.

me again, that anon rereading Sansukh who commented on Narvi and ch 19. Would like you to know that rereading Dain’s death is still just as upsetting as the first time I read it. And the second. And the third. Goddamn it.

Dets, I have a strange question for you… My partner and I have been fans of Sansukh since Chapter 1, and we were wondering if you would mind if he played some of the music from Sansukh at our wedding? Actually I’m content with slow updates (as long as it’s because you’re happily fulfillingly satisfyingly busy) because… only four more chapters, and no new Sansukh. I will so miss your vision of this world! You’ve brought deep complex life to so many characters. Thank you for your gifts of words and music!

*hugs* I’ll miss it too, it’s older than my own kid and I suspect I’ll be a bit lost for a while after it is all done. I plan to spend some time splashing merrily in the Appendices, telling some of the supplemental stories to the main fic (such as Bani and Baris’ love story, for instance), but yeah. IDK. I will be both relieved and very sad to see it end!
