Hey it’s the anon who triggered that awfulwonderful sad post about Dis months and months ago. I read the new chapter. And I just? AHHHHHHHHH dead. It was perfect and makes me just want MOREEEEEE but also? DISITH QUEEN DIS YES YES YES PERFECT AND UGH SO PERFECT

Oh my god, so much, what a wild ride of a chapter, Thranduil likes Gimli now, holy shit (tbh I’m still not used to Gimli and Legolas hanging around in Erebor), DURIN for god’s sake, the poor poor shire, and DÍS oh Dís she finally gets to rest, it’s after 3am here so this is probably incoherent but as usual I can’t find it in myself to regret it

(it really does feel weird to have them together in Erebor – probably why i was all: ‘right, LET’S GET THEM OUT OF HERE NOW, we’ve done all we needed to do!’)

I personally am not a fan of Bagginshield (dunno why, I just don’t like it) but I am hugely curious about Sansukh!! WHAT DO I DO??? :'(

OPTION B: download the thing and remove all mentions of Bagginshield (necessitates this effort on your part, tho)

OPTION C: don’t worry about reading it and just listen to the music or smthg?

Between them, Dwalin and Orla have sacrificed WAY too much and have still achieved their happy ending, and yes BOTH ARE SCARY (and soft soft SOFT AND SMOOSHY on the inside) so nup, they aren’t gonna be pressured into anything NO SIRREE.

I am so stoked you like the Nori-the-experienced-criminal bit, heh. I do like exploring that aspect of him every so often! AND HEHEHEHEH BABY-BAIT-AND-SWITCH, snrk, I have been planning that for (I shit you not) YEARS. 

Fili has definitely gotten the hang of this leader stuff, thanks to all of the watching over Frodo and Sam in Mordor. He’s gotten VERY GOOD at staying observant and knowing where best to deploy Nori and Kili!

ROSIEEEE. I really wanted to play a little more with her character, give her more to DO than just be a ‘prize’ or ‘reward’ or whatever. So, I am so glad you like what I did with her!

Laindawar, lol – he’ll pretend like CRAZY that he’s doing this bc nobility etc etc, but the reality is that he simply HATES SAURON. SO MUCH. The Greenwood is safe and free now, so he’s off to do his angry terrier elf bit in the Orocarni now 🙂

I’m really glad I was alone in my room when I checked my email, because Sansukh updated! And the noise I made probably frightened my fish, but no one heard it besides him (and he’s good at keeping secrets). I don’t want to mention any things I like specifically (in case you publish, I don’t want to spoil anyone who wasn’t able to read it yet), but OMG! This chapter was better than I expected or hoped for, I was laughing a lot and there were few tears. Thank you for writing an amazing fic!
