TL;DR – Tolkien says that Dwarves fall in love once. That’s it. There’s nothing – NOTHING – there about “””soulmates””” or destined partners. That’s fanon only.
There’s also nothing to say that a Dwarf mightn’t fall in love once… but with more than one person!

All the PDFs I have made are currently available on the Sansukh Writing Masterpage. (Google Doc)
I’ve cleaned and posted up to Chapter 39 as PDFs, with no images included. Just text only.
Once I finish the story, I’ll revise these PDFs and collate them in the new 3-Volumes with the titles, etc.
I’ll also set up the Appendices as a single PDF for download/e-reading etc. This will occur after I’ve cleaned up all my character notes, Meet A Dwarrowdam blurbs, culture notes, family trees, genealogies and timelines, so that they can also become part of the Appendices.
I have a LOT of notes 😉
I also intend to turn the final completed PDFs into
Aaaaand finally & eventually I will re-contact all the artists whose art is embedded in the AO3 version. They’ve all consented to have their art linked in the fic online, but I’d make sure that they are ok with it being used in other mediums, too, bc I don’t want to assume! I will ask those artists if they are willing to see their art used in an e-book or (in the case of those who want to do so), a privately-printed version of the fic.
(All art will of course be used with credit, too, as always! Honestly, the credit section of these collections is probably going to be GIGANTANORMOUS)

Believe me, Nonnie, I would love love LOVE to own an actual, physical book of Sansukh. In a way, it would make all of these words tangible to me, to have holdable, touchable, weighable proof of all this hard work and years of my time and effort. I mean, sometimes I don’t believe I’ve really written that much, it doesn’t seem real. I think it’d make it real for me.
There’s a problem, though: LOTR is within copyright, which rests in part with the Tolkien Estate Ltd, MGM & Warner Bros.
If I made Sansukh into a book, I would have to do so for my own enjoyment, and I wouldn’t be able to produce it for others in exchange for money to recoup my costs, basically.
You can use lulu.com or bookpatch to print books p cheap, by the way. But they have a maximum of around 800 pages per book… so I’d have to split Sansukh into 3 parts.
Well, if JRRT can do that, so can I I guess!
Here’s a big headscratchy question, however: WHAT WOULD I CALL EACH BOOK????? hmm. Here’s me riffing off the top of my head… they may suck, but idk, it’s all I can think up in ten minutes or so.

ONE WHO SEES CLEARLY
(ch21 – 36)
