Happy birthday to your Dwarfling!!!!

Ahhh, thank you! She had a great day – so many visitors, so many presents! And I made a cake with dark chocolate fudge icing that looked like a little brown owl, and it tasted delicious. Proud Mummy moment 🙂

She is absolutely pooped after such a big weekend, and we’re all a little bit people-d out, I think. But it was a roaring success, and she had a wonderful time! I can’t believe it’s a year!

I’ve just gotten the end of Sansukh. Words cannot describe how beautifully you have crafted it. I’m sure many have said so. Thank you, looking forward to the next chapter! Now I have to sleep, because its half 2 in the morning in the UK….oops.

OH GOSH SLEEP

Also – thank you, thank you SO much. I am so touched. I work very hard on it, and every kind word just. It really means so much. Every single one. Thank you for taking the time to tell me, it is a beautiful message to return to. I’ll be collapsing from exhaustion with a big smile, thanks to you. *hugs* Thank you again!

I was rereading sansukh and I’m probably being stupid but who are wee thorin’s parents? I thought it was dwalin and orla but then dain and the queen refer to him as son?

LOL, okay… welp, there are three Thorins in Sansukh.

Thorin Oakenshield, determined dogged dead schmoopy leader, crafter and brooder extraordinaire.

Thorin Stonehelm, son of Dain and Thira, new King of Erebor, Awkward Butterknife.

Wee Thorin Dwalinul, son of Orla Longaxe and Dwalin, eldest of three brothers, long-suffering Gimizh-wrangler and Elf-Whisperer.

I know, I KNOW – but I differentiate them by always referring to Thorin Stonehelm as ‘the Stonehelm’, Dwalin’s boy as ‘Wee Thorin’ (poor little guy lol), and our Thorin as just plain ‘Thorin.’ I couldn’t resist having Dwalin name his firstborn after his best friend, even though Dain had already done that long before. So yeah, sorry for the confusion, Nonnie!
