IT’S SANSUKHS BIRTHDAY WEEEEE

Sansukh’s 2nd birthday! Dwarfling’s 1st birthday! ALL THE BIRTHDAAAAYS!

so, I will be a bit MIA over the next few days – we have a party planned for our bub on Saturday, and the family begins trickling in as of tonight! I haven’t been cleaning frantically or anything hahahahaha *gulp*

I am super-sorry to those whose asks I have sitting here: I will get to them on Sunday night Aussie time, most probably! I apologise profusely for the delay. *smooches*

I love stories where someone returns after an adventure and the family is all, “Wow, you’ve changed.” Because experiences like that do change a person, and re-learning a person you love is important and interesting. I’m particularly looking forward to this in Sansûkh because in this story (unlike most of the genre) BOTH (all?) parties have had the sort of experience that dramatically changes a person. So they can all re-learn together, and it’s just that much better. In summary: I love Sansûkh.

Ahhhhhh

Nonnie, thank you, thank you so much. And yes, it’s something I plan to investigate in the story. And those who went away are not the only ones who have changed: everyone is being changed by this war, whether they are in the Halls, in Erebor, or part of the Fellowship. That was something I really wanted to explore!
