Laerophen made Balinith a bunch of pictures of plants from the Greenwood and environs. Most are in color. Some are disected. There are blurbs. At some point Balinith gets them bound into a proper little book.

I can’t find Gimizh in this list, but he is also sir-not-appearing in the cast list and… is he cast? Is he not? Dwarflings are very important to meeeee and GIMIZH IN PARTICULAR.

I am sorry, archnemeton – Gimizh is to be voiced by the mighty mod, Ricky, who is working their BUTT off to make this all possible. Likewise, Laerophen is to be voiced by our other mighty mod, HeuristicDevice.

But all three of the sons of Dwalin are still not cast, and will be available for audition in future rounds!

Pile of sleepy dwarflings on Gimris’ living room floor. Mostly on the carpet. Snoring for the gold (not in concert at all). Balinith has one booted foot and one bare foot. Gimizh is using a couch leg as a teddy bear. Frerinith is drooling a little. Wee Thorin is contorted in a way that is barely possible, let alone comfortable,

I was wondering if Thorin would ever consider dreadlocks to keep his sheepdog/bedhead/ridiculous hair under control more permanently…or would that be unthinkable for a dwarf? Probably. But he would look SO HOT. ;)

I think that dreadlocks are a cultural aspect for Blacklock and Stiffbeard Dwarves, myself. I don’t think they would be used by Dwarves of the West. There are all sorts of cultural implications there.

(Balinith, in my mind, has dreads tho. His mother helps him with them, and he is very proud of them. He likes the tactile sensation of them in his hands.)

The dwarfling troupe are often found under a table at the end of formal events, fast asleep, surrounded by empty plates and cups, their formalwear mussed and their braids askew. The chosen table will have a good vantage point and be swathed in drapery – a good command centre for their shenanigans!

Gimizh totally hijacks Barur’s cooking. All the time. Not to much, and nothing to crucial, but some small dishes during feasts disappear, and batches shrink without cause. During holidays, Gimizh (with Wee Thorin and Balinith) can often be found lurking near the kitchens in order to make of with stuff. Watch out for the bite-sized things at formal events!

Yep, this is p much how I envision them! Their antics in ‘Little Wild One’ are fairly standard, to be honest.

Balinith totally loves Balin’s overstuffed chair. He’s curl up in it with a (far to big) book from Balin’s collection or the library, some juice and some cookies and read. Dwalin is very proud and heartbroken.
