Gimizh once switched all of the tea in Dori’s apartment up so the labels didn’t match the contents. Balinith was appalled at the sheer anarchy. Dori was petrified.

Laerophen and Balinith doing Science is a wonderful idea. They work in the herb gardens together. They talk about plants. They draw things. it’s cute as cute.

More Laerophen + Dwarfling headcanons. *Balinith totally ropes Laero into helping with Science Stuff, since Laerophen is very well read. It is calming and happy times for both of them, with only a small side dish of shenanigans. *Laerophen once spend four hours with Frerinith napping on his chest, too awestruck to move. *Laerophen enjoys doing music stuff with Wee Thorin, and they play together. *Laerophen once got stuck in a small corridor following Gimizh on a cookie raid. Bofur fished him out
MEEP TOO CUTE AHHHH
The Dwarfling Troupe totally drag Laerophen into their plots. Balinith is fairly easy, being all “Can you reach that thing on the high shelf?” etc. Frerinith gets Laerophen to carry him around for extended periods, enjoying traveling in state at such heights. Wee Thorin usually helps Gimizh use Laerophen as leverage. “But Barur, we told Laerophen how good your pumpkin pie was and he wants to try it!” *puppy eyes*. Also going places that they mightn’t be able to otherwise b/c they are supervised.

Balinith totally endears himself to Merilin by telling her very seriously one day that she’s a very pretty lady – for an elf.
AH TOO CUTE
Wee Thorin has given up on stopping all but the worst of Gimizh’s plans and Balinith just tries to redirect them into slightly less dangerous routes using the gimmick of increased efficiency of cookie theivery and decreased chances of capture. Frerinith will be cute on cue for a share of the spoils.

I imagine anytime that Dwalin’s kids and Gimizh hang out it usually devolves into this: Gimizh: Gimizh YES!!! Wee Thorin: Gimizh No!! Balinith: Gimizh try this there’s a 30% less chance of injuries and 5% increase in cookie haul. Frerinith: Cookies???
