Bookmaker anon here! These work perfectly. Title suggestions would be lovely if I do wind up having to break it. I’m currently playing around with fonts as I have several Hobbit and LotR based ones. I promise it’ll be legible!

Ahh, I’m glad those breaks work for you, Bookmaker Nonnie! I’ve been wracking my brains trying to think of names, and coming up short! I will keep trying.

I trust you, I know it will be beautiful. (hah I remember discovering how expensive fonts are, in the discussion about Plantin some time ago. And I was just SO SHOCKED at the cost, lmao)

Book maker anon here! Not sure if you remember me but I’m excited to know there’s an ending in sight for the fic, as sad as I’ll be when it’s done. I was curious if you’d prefer the fic to be one volume or if you had ideas on where to split it into multiple volumes and if so, how many and where? I’m hoping to have the funds to start concrete planning sometime near the end of the year once I get a job again. I lost mine after asking your ok to make a personal book of the fic.

OH MY GOODNESSS

aaaaah!! Hello Bookmaker Nonnie! It is wonderful to hear from you again!

Yeah, it must come to an end. But no doubt I shall thrash madly about in the Appendices for a good long time while I go through withdrawal, heh

Ohhh, good question.. I would have said that I’d prefer it to be one volume. But heck, as I recall Tolkien said that he wanted LOTR to be all one book as well, but his publisher said it was too big. Lemme see.

OK. I just checked, and yeah. The whole of LOTR is 481,103 words (including the Appendices). Sansukh currently stands at 457,875.

Haha oh sweet mercy, it’s less than 30K away

ALL RIGHT. Bowing to the inevitable, here’s some possible breaks for 3 books:

BOOK I – Chapter 1 – 17

BOOK II – Chapter 18 – 33

BOOK III – Chapter 33 – 50

(don’t ask me to name the books, I can’t think of anything at all!!!)

Does that work for you, Bookmaker Nonnie? Love to hear what you think!
