I KNOW I KNOW NONNIE

I KNOWWWWWW

here is the text on Tolkien Gateway – warning, ORI, OIN AND BALIN FEELS.

ALSO FRAR, LONI AND NALI FEELS.

MORIAAAAA GAH, the angst that never stops angsting. *cries into her beard*

In answer to your question: I think Dori would read it. I do. It has been twenty-five years, no word, not a sign. He would read it simply to find out what happened at long last – and then he would forever wish that he had not.

Gimizh probably gets a bunch of odd jobs and deliveries and stuff? He’ll get payments in stories and candies and new learning. And if he has his friends with him, they do stuff as well (except for Frerinith, who often hangs out with the adults doing cuddles). This way Gimizh knows a lot of people all over and has a really good mental map of the Mountain. He especially likes following Dis and Gloin and Dori around.

YESSSS ❤

Dori is 300% done with Gimizh’s shenanigans. Too cute for his own good. Wee Thorin is acceptable, as he is Responsible. Balinith is very earnest (and sweet). Frerinith is a cute muffin, and listens well. And holds things.

TOO CUTE, OH MY GOD.

(tbh, I think Dori is a LOT more indulgent with the whirlwind of imagination and mayhem that is Gimizh than he should be. Perhaps he can’t help it. He just can’t bring himself to follow through on all his outraged threats and punishments, no matter what Gimizh has done to deserve them this time around. He can’t even look at the lad without the memories: a small, mischievous, light-fingered and red-headed tyke, with a sly gappy grin and adventure deep in his heart.)
