So I saw a steel band today and I just thought- Dwarves with steel drums! It seems likely enough, considering that Dwarves work with metal a lot. Steel drums ringing throughout Erenor is a great thought.

DWARVEN QUILTS THOUGH. I feel like they might use earthtone batiks to mimic stone, and metallic thread for embroidery work. Heirloom quilts have gems scattered amongst the seams. I wanna make one now.

Dwarf quilts! Quilts are often so geometric. Dwarves would make awesome quilts. So angular. Some are curvy. Really cool designs. Ranging from little baby quilts to big ginormous quilts, all warm enough to keep winter in the mountain at bay. So snuggly. Much warm.

OOOOOOH YES – sudden urge to buy/make a Dwarven-inspired quilt now!
