Today is the cat’s day in Japan.

Finally finished coloring this! It was a lot of fun, I want to be able to draw these two again.

one thing i really like about gigolas is that yeah, you have the slow stately builds for their relationship, where they take their time becoming friends and falling in love over the course of the journey

and then you have the ones where Lothlorien turns it into a fuckin whirlwind romance

re: the last one i just imagine everyone around them (namely their parents and other elves/dwarves, because the Fellowship got used to this shit way fast) waiting for the other shoe to drop, for them to start regretting what they’ve done, since it cannot be undone

and then just having to suffer with the fact that no, they’re going to be sickeningly sappy and in love until the end of time

For the following anonymous prompt in gigolas 1000 fics (now 2000 fics) challenge:

Five times Legolas kissed Gimli and one time Gimli kissed him back.

I
envision this as the elf aggravating the dwarf at first– then Gimli
starts feeling the love as both the kisses and the annoyance grow into
something sweeter. Bonus points for loud, peevish dwarven fuming, and as
his emotions grow warmer, the fuming gets louder. But you can adapt it
as much as you want.
