So it’s Dwalin and Orla’s wedding anniversary, and the Dwalinuls make a cake for the (small) party, supervised by Dori. It’s a kind of ugly cake – the pan was put in weirdly, so the cake is lopsided. The icing job is atrocious; Wee Thorin tried spelling out ‘happy anniversary’ but ran out of room. Fortunately, it tastes pretty good. And Bombur made other food, which looked and taste d great,

Gimizh sometimes gets Dori to fix up his hair like Nori’s. Dori gets all teary as he puts the peaks in red hair again.

Both Frerinth and Balnith adopt Dori’s penchant for tea. Wee Thorin develops something of a taste for coffee, and Gimizh is fuelled by cookies. Always. (People eventually joke that Wee Thorin is fuelled by coffee and rage over being called ‘Wee’ when he’s … Not.)

Gimli visits the Shire. Gimizh sneaks along somehow. They meet the ENTIRE Took clan. Gimizh is, to his horror and delight, out-mischief-ed. Out pranked. Out schemed, out-played. He must learn their ways. Pippin and Merry take him under their wing. Gimli is terrified of this team-up. Someone just hands him a pipeful of Longbottom Leaf.

Oh jeez, my brain cannot handle the idea of Gimizh + Tooks, it’s too frightening

So Gimizh’s class was doing a wall mural as part of a “let’s-decorate-the-school” initiative. Gimizh ended up getting sent home early that day because he fell in the paint. When Bofur came to pick him up he found that Gimizh’s entire left side was viciously yellow. Parts of his hair were yellowish for weeks.

Nori has so many bets on about Gimizh. So many. They used to be about whether or not he /would/ cause mayhem. Not they’re mostly about how much he can get away with and how many cookies he can steal.

pffft Nori would have lost a fuckton of money before he came to the realisation that when it comes to mayhem, Gimizh will. He always will.

Gimizh is a sleep-sprawler. He falls asleep in his parents’ bed and they’re all ???? Because he is so tiny tiny and yet takes up like, half the bed. And another 10% by snoring and wriggling.

Mizim makes cupcakes with the Trouble Troupe and lets them decorate two each. Wee Thorin’s look nice enough, a solid effort. Balinith’s are Very Precise and show good line use. Gimizh is all “how much icing can this cupcake support?” Frerinith ate a bunch of icing and put something that vaguely resembles smily faces on his cupcakes.

pfffft sounds like a recipe for total disaster.

Gimizh would have gotten into a fight in under two minutes over hogging the icing bag, no doubt (he would have kept piping it into his mouth, the little grotty thing)
