I still have A LOT to do over the weekend to prepare for my final speech Monday night for my thesis. But I just want to relax just for one more day!!!

So close to being done with it T^T, my digital and physical copies of my Thesis paper are due the 9th and 14th of April. Once those are turned in I’m done with this thesis shit forever (T^T)/

I’ll try and post pics from my senior show in the next couple of days. Some of the photos I took weren’t very good so I’ll see if ewebean took better ones haha.

FYI: I’m probably gonna livestream tonight so keep an eye out if you want to watch! :’>

Once upon a time, I promised scarletjedi a cover piece for her really terrific fic Comes Around Again.

I said I’d have it in November

*rubs back of neck* HAPPY MARCH 27TH!

This is incredible!!! Look at his smile!

OH MY GOD. This is AMAZING. His hair! That smile! Facial proportions AHHHHH, *rolls about in the amazingness* That frame! The colours! The facets on the Lady’s Gift! Gimli just seems to glow. I love this so much!

Young Gimli complains that he wasn’t allowed to go to the Quest; Thorin III complains that Dain didn’t let him go to BOTFA. Their young mind makes them believe they could have made a difference. But they can’t stop wondering if they’d not end like Fili and Kili.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever explained this somewhere, so I wanted to ask: the people in Sansukh who can see Thorin (well, Gimli and Gandalf), how exactly do they see him? Does he look like a completely normal dwarf or is he somehow… idk, translucent or something else that would make you notice he’s not actually physically there?

Ahhhh, I have answered this in the fic, really.

Gimli doesn’t normally SEE Thorin, not under normal circumstances. All he can feel is Thorin’s voice, Thorin’s presence. He has seen him exactly twice: once, in Galadriel’s mirror, and once during the Ride of the Dead. The first time he appears as solid as the living, thanks to the magic of Galadriel’s mirror. The second time, he appears as one of a host of Dwarves ‘limned in starlight’.

Gandalf sees them at all times as a faint watermark upon the world, a ghost in truth. Translucent, yes, and not always obvious. Sometimes he notices, sometimes not.

hi dets! i was wondering if you know the khuzdul translation of ‘faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens?’ thank you!

The Dwarrow Scholar has everything your dwarven heart could desire, Khuzdul-wise. He even has a shortlist of idioms and phrases! Check out the ‘Free Khuzdul Lessons’ link to find the dictionary & support documents.

Anyway, seeing as I was there already, I nabbed it for you, Nonnie 🙂
