(I think Gloin is not particularly stoked about it when he finds out, but is ultimately told to behave by his wife, who thinks Gimli’s new BF is perfectly reasonable for an elf. Family gatherings are awkward but at least no weapons get drawn at anyone else)
Someone prompted me to draw lesbian Kiliel a while ago, and it was something I could not refuse.
Tauriel’s headpiece was inspired by these lovely crystal crowns on Etsy. I wanted something that kept the elven motif of branches and nature but embraced a bit of the Dwarvish love of jewels.
Mama Ri was the most fabulous Dwarrowdam with a hundred admirers, and broke many hearts back in Erebor. Dori inherited her beauty and her love of tea (and also her tendency for heartbreaking).
