Fili and Kili totally have dolls in Bofur’s shop. The boys watch the dolls’ antics from the Halls and proudly tell stories of the best ones. The time Gimizh sent his Kili “sledding”down the stairs on one of Gimris’ medical books was a highlight. Fili is not pleased with the amount of chewing his toy receives from Frerinith. His poor arm is work to a nub.

Tbh I think Gimli would rescue and repair the Fili and Kili dolls.

He still misses his cousins.

Dwarf kids are probably so interested in Dwalin’s bald head. Because bald dwarves are such a rarity. Poor Dwalin gets poked and prodded a lot in the head-region. The poor parents and guardians are mortified because their kid is poking at a famous hero’s noggin.

Thorin and Frerin are giving Dain more of the tour of the Halls and they decide to stop for a pint at one of the many bars. Dain is surprised to find Thrain, Fris, Nain, and Daeris already there. It turns out this place is famous for afterlife!dwarf karaoke. Fris and Daeris are an award-winning combo, and Nain and Thrain are there to cheer and hold flowers. Frerin is proud, Thorin is resigned/amused.

Just think … dwarf music boxes. Thrain and Nain probably do a lot of really cool ones together. Thrain does most of the technical stuff while Nain makes up music for them. They do design work together. They make lots of cute gifts of them.
