I made the mistake of listening to this while reading determamfidd’s fic Snowmelt (pls read it, it is just. so, so amazing, omg (nsfw, just so you know)), and now I’m imagining Gimli and Legolas singing this to each other and just

The entire song hits me in just the right way when applied to them, but the end of the song always gets me in particular b/c like

My dad’s watching Ranbo III like, right next to me, and it’s getting to be really flippin hard not to make it obvious that I’m crying over two fictional characters who are fictionally in love and who are singing this song to each other and dancing together in my mind. Fictionally.
