The fact that Rey’s natural weapon is a pole/quarterstaff thing makes me really hope this is where she’s headed.

I am really hoping for this, except with a longer handle in the middle and a shorter blade on each end. Tell me she couldn’t engineer that, I dare you. And it would be cool.

OR she could keep her normal weapon and pimp it out with lightsabers.

Kylo Ren would be so jealous.

hehe

Oh my gosh you saw it! What’s your opinion on Kylo Ren? Do you think he could ever be redeemed?

I DID I DID and aaaargh I enjoyed it so much.

nnngh, I dunno! My opinion of Kylo Ren is.. well, very uncomplimentary at this early stage. He throws MASSIVE tantrums like a pouty toddler. He has a giant fanboner for his giant fuckup of a grandpa. He has all the gifts in the world, but devotes himself to tearing apart the work and lives of others. He comes from a famous, powerful and well-off home and is INCREDIBLY loved, but he turns his back on all that, throws that into his parents’ (and uncle’s) faces. When he called Finn ‘traitor’, tbh, I was thinking OH YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE.

But I am keeping in mind that we don’t know all of his backstory yet. Though his background is one of love and privilege and yadda yadda (YOUR MUM IS A PRINCESS), we still haven’t heard exactly why Han made such a disappointing father. What exactly it was that made him so disaffected that Snoke was able to coax him away.

He’s obviously very torn, and in pain, and confused.

We just don’t know enough yet.

IDK, Nonnie, I am reserving judgement, I guess… I think that what we’ve been shown so far isn’t enough to really make that call. It certainly fits with the overall theme/s of the films that he could be redeemed. I want him to be redeemed, if only for Luke and Leia’s sakes.
