I am sad to say I don’t know @girlofshadowsandstars very much at all. (I think I recognize the name Dani, though, but that’s likely from your blog, Fishy) so I don’t have much I can say about her.

Yet despite all that awesomeness confined in one person, she’s one of the most humble people I have ever met. She will never ever ever take the spotlight from someone else – she’s one of those people that gets thrust into it, waves a little, and you fall immediately in love with her.
Also one of the kindest. It doesn’t how little she knows you, if she sees you’re having a hard time she will do something to cheer you up. She’s funny, fucking adorable like whoa, and nice. She’s one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, least of all having the privilege to call a friend.

(I’m very, very near sighted.) For those of you that don’t know, Glasses without insurance coverage, are upwards of 200 bucks, that’s not even counting the eye exam. (which is on average $70-80, though the average in my city is even more! Lucky me.)

A long long time ago I was in a production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. I played Feste. At the end of the play he sings this song(the piano broke). I sang it a cappella in front of many parents and students and it was horrifying. But that’s something that sticks with you; I still know the whole song. posting me singing makes me nervous as hell but I’m in the right mood tonight.
I recorded this because I was talking to @the-dragongirl about missing acting. So I present this as a gift for her. I’ll also tag @determamfidd because she seems to like it when I sing.
Well, these are just some ideas that I was throwing around, really – I’m a big fan of the whole piercings-denoting-meanings idea? It’s by no means definitive though 🙂 I just. I REALLY like the whole body-mod Dwarves thing.
Anyway, I’ve written this out before – but TL;DR: I think most Dwarves would have at least one piercing, but it would be usual to have more. They’d be visible symbols of mastery and status and achievement (such as the nose-jewel Gimris started wearing after she achieved her mastery in healing, or the lower lip-stud Baris wears as a Master-singer)
Uh, trying to think of more that I have confirmed. Gimli has heavy ear cuffs – like, a LOT of ear-cuffs – and barbells through his nipples.
Oh, and a tongue-stud is usually reserved for poets, diplomats and scribes – those who are skilled in the way of words 🙂

Like seriously; you don’t understand. These two authors (@deadcatwithaflamethrower and @determamfidd) have changed fanfiction for me forever. *beginning rant* Like they’re bother such amazing examples of what fic authors can accomplish. Seamless integration of fanon and canon. Both have numerous OCs that I *constantly* forget are OCs (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked up like Rillian or Terza on wookiepedia. Hrera or Gimris the Tolkien wiki) because these characters fit so well into the universe that is seems odd when they’re not there. Both are incredibly kind and generous and in awe of the fans of their works and that’s so nice and so inspiring. I’m just really glad I made the decision to read Sansukh and Re-entry okay? *end rant*
