PFFFFFFFFT
Awwww, Nonnie! That is adorable, I am cooing a bit at the screen. Laerophen The Cookie Thief, alskdgflajsgflajhfd (Gimizh Approves)
He will be all “EPIC AMAZEMENT AND HEART EYES” and also “AHHH TERRIFIED NOW, SO TINY AND FRAGILE OH HELP IT MOVED, WHAT DOOOO”
He sure will, and VERY soon! We are catching up with the Battle Under the Trees very soon. Thrandy and Laindawar are going to make an appearance… and we’re going to discover what Galadriel and her crew have been up to!
(Nope, no help here Nonnie, sorry – succumb to his awkwardface haughtiness and total helplessness in front of children!)
LOL, I didn’t go into the kind of detail on those brothers as I have for Sansukh’s Laindawar and Laerophen – those Elves were basically me playing with the idea of having Legolas as not-an-only-child. FOATA was me testing the waters in a lot of ways: it was my first LOTR fic ever, and I was experimenting a bit with style and narrative and characterisation. Those two Elves are the proto-Laerophen and the proto-Laindawar, really. They barely turn up for more than a couple of sentences, so I didn’t need to go to the in-depth lengths of character-building I spent on the Sansukh characters. Sorry I can’t give you more detail on them!

the number of Dwarves that are going to discover that they are related to Thranduil, it is sorta awesome hahaha
JEFF
(along with Larry the Elf and Brad the Bowman, lolololol!)
HAHAHAHA oh gosh, oh dear!
But now I’m remembering that Elves now and again wear paints, in Sansukh. Legolas mentioned it in Lothlorien, from memory… if you suspect this was a response to Eyeliner Legolas in The Hobbit… you would absolutely be right, lol.
So, I’m imagining Laerophen showing Gimli how to apply black eyeliner. And it is a very cute image. Elf and Dwarf both staring intently into a mirror, pulling the extraordinary faces you have to pull (idk, I always do) when putting makeup on.
😀
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
(I am forcefully reminded of the ‘Brad the Bowman’ post, snrk)
