I feel your pain on the Dain hate issue. It physically pains me every time I see Les Mis in London and people boo Javert during curtain call. Why?! ;-;

That sucks. Seriously. Javert is not a villain – he’s not even a bad man. Did they even watch the same show? URGH.

I just wish, with all my heart, that the Dain-bashing was tagged on AO3. It’s awful to start a fic and enjoy it, and BAM. There it is.

Character-bashing gets tagged in other fandoms, but apparently I am a bad bad lady and stifling creativity and interpretation to ask for fair warning when it applies to Dain-bashing. 

I have accepted that I’m not gonna win this one, but I am always going to be very hurt about it. I guess. It actually makes me really sad.
