what a fossil

LOLOLOL, exaaaaactly… and they didn’t give any reasons, or anything. Jeez, Gigolas is a tiny little tugboat of a ship comparatively, it’s usually a secondary pairing and not the main event.
idk, in retrospect I am thinking that this person may be a copycat, bc our dear Azog the Anon usually goes out of their way to give a zillion insulting “reasons” as to WHY they think it ‘unbalanced’ (i.e. the abuse argument, leading into the bilbo-as-special-sacrificing-snowflake argument, leading into the mental illness argument, leading into telling people what to ship and who to identify with, leading into.. yadda yadda wash rinse repeat). Also, I doubt Azog would bother with throwing the Iron Hills Dwarves into the mix when there is ship-shaming to be getting on with. So that suggests that it is probably a copycat who is just piggy-backing on the recent drama and targeting my particular little fandom idiosyncrasies.
To be frank, after seeing it so much, used in such an inept way, the word ‘unbalanced’ has begun to seem… sort of absurd. Now when I see the word ‘unbalanced’ when referring to a Hobbit or LOTR ship, I can’t help but picture them on a see-saw (or teeter-totter)… Bilbo high in the air looking miffed, Thorin looking puzzled on the ground. Or now, Gimli on the ground looking disgruntled while Legolas stands on the see-saw seat like the light-footed Elven show-off that he is 😀
They dont show what Bilbo does with the acorn but i will accept this symbolism hell yes
They don’t? Whoops, false spoiler lol. Still, I guess it can still work!
