what’s this?

• an open club for those who want to discuss Hobbit fan fiction works (with a focus on bagginshield fics, although other pairings will inevitably make appearances)
• only Completed fics of any AU/canon-verse with word counts under 50k will be up for discussion (tbd by baggvinshield – you know you trust me) for at least the first 5 sessions
• we will utilize Skype group chat for weekly discussion, scheduled tentatively for Wednesdays at 5pm EST (day/time can and most likely will change based on the needs of the group)

other info

• we need your Skype by October 7th, 5pm EST which is when we will have our first ‘meeting’ – however, you may choose to join at a later date as this is an open club
• track the tag #hobbit reading club (bc we can’t think of a good name rn) (let’s change this later lol)
• we will announce the first fic assignment this Wednesday, September 30th. members will have one week to read each fic before we Discuss.

how to join

• create a Skype account if you don’t have one (make a separate one just for fandom purposes if you aren’t comfortable sharing your Skype name with others)
• send an ask to baggvinshield OR killaidanturner and let one of us know your Skype so we can invite you to the chat
