We’re still alive, we promise! We are working diligently on chapter three for you guys; this chapter is extremely involved (sooooo many characters and dialogue cuts!), and Ricky had major surgery that prevented them from doing much of anything (having one’s mouth swell up to twice the normal size isn’t very conducive to talking, much less recording narration). Things are picking up though, and we’ve got the chapter cobbled together in full.
We adore each and every one of you, and we are so, so grateful that you’re sticking with us.

Eastern US Sansukh Cast Get-Together was, in spite of several snafus (including a late bus that caused Alris and I to nearly miss Legolas, and a half hour train delay that resulted in me getting to find out firsthand what the greyhound stations of DC and Baltimore are like) a success!. Because we are all dwarven dorks (except Legolas, who is TOTALLY a dwarf by marriage, and therefore still counts), we spent the afternoon in the National Gem and Mineral Collection in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Shown here – us with what is clearly the Arkenstone. Thank you so much to everyone who came – it was great fun!

As we sort through the raw audio for Chapter 3, we have produced a teaser trailer for the upcoming chapter. Enjoy, and we look forward to releasing Chapter 3 in the next few weeks!
At long last, progress on the Baris court gown cosplay! The chemise is now completely finished, though I may decide to go back and reinforce a couple of the seams before attempting to machine wash it. As the photos show, following the tutorial exactly has given me very puffy sleeves, which will be nice for the pulls I designed in the outer sleeves. Of course, it would have been done a lot faster if I hadn’t hand stitched the whole thing, but there’s something satisfying about making a chemise the old fashioned way.
In other progress, all the rhinestones for the circlet and other accessories have been obtained. I have selected the fabric for the outer gown, and aviva0017 has very kindly found me fabric for the undergown. Next up, though… the corset. THAT’S going to be interesting.
We’d like to thank you all for your patience. This took far longer than we had anticipated, but we are optimistic that future chapters will come out in a more timely manner.

Each verse represents a different member of the company (with the exception of Fili and Kili, who are together, and the last verse, which isn’t anyone). Can you figure out who’s who?
I intimated that I expected Chapter 2 to be up within a week’s time. Sadly (partly due to circumstances out of my control, and partially through my own arrogance) I underestimated how long this chapter would take to produce. So this is just a quick note to tell all you lovelies that you must sadly wait a little longer and that this is largely a product of us ironing out the production process. Please be patient, and we are taking steps to make sure that Chapter 3 will come out shortly after Chapter 2.
tl;dr: We are still alive and working on producing the chapter. But no, Heuristic Device was wrong in thinking Chapter 2 would be out this week. Thanks for being so patient.
