Jeri would absolutely practice their lines in the mirror to avoid being a total gawky catastrophe on a first date, you realise

(they get overheard by Genild, who pokes her head in to make sure Jeri is all right – and tries not to die laughing as she carefully closes the door behind her. She’s not going to be able to tell Beri without cackling her head off.)

Aaahhhhh, most of my favourites have already been said! But I have to shout out for Frís. Somebody who could raise Thorin, Frerin and Dís to be such amazing dwarves has to be the most remarkable dam to ever exist.

If you told Fris that she was your fave, she would demur and flap her hands at her reddened cheeks, and then would completely turn it back at you, because she is 1000% like that. 

She’d say something like, “What a gem you are! You are most certainly my favourite too, dear one.”

Or even:  “Mahal below, good gracious! Well, thank you – but the giver of such lovely compliments deserves to be their own favourite!”

Are we still doing favorite OCs? Because Thira’s pretty rad, and I know Narvi doesn’t /technically/ count, but I’m adding her in anyway because “nerdy-craftswoman-dwarf with an epic hatred for Sauron” is an EXCELLENT character concept . ❤  

(I WAS SO HOPING SOMEONE LOVED THIRA AS MUCH AS I DO, she is so beautiful and such a soft, wise, quiet soul, I love her so muchhhhhh)
