SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 35!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody cries over Dain BUT WHAT OF BOMBUR????!!! My poor heart ! I loved that Dwarf ! And poor Bifur who had to watch this ! And Bofur who couldn’t see his younger brother (who was supposed to be SAFE INSIDE THAT MOUNTAIN DAMMIT!) one last time ! You killed me ! My darlings from the -Ur family, I am with you !

Oh, there was PLENTY of outrage over Bombur, let me assure you! I just didn’t post those messages yesterday (bc spoilers). Everybody knew Dain’s end was on the cards, after all!

“The Iron Hills For Me” chpt. 35 of Sansûkh

I’m not crying ur crying

HOW DID YOU DO THAT SO FAST ARE YOU A WIZARD

It is AMAZING, I am blubbing alsjdgfaljsgflajhfda DIS. DAIN. DURIN FEELS.

AUGH. HIS TATTS. HER HAIR. HIS WOUND. THEIR FACES.

*crawls into a corner with art to sob over it a bit*

THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHHH

okay first off not normally one to use the asky talky box but OMGOSH I had to after this chapter of Sansukh because the whole story is perfect and the feels leaking out of my eyes*sniffles so not crying but bawling* I absolutely adore your portrayal of the dwarves and well everyone, including Dain, who you got me to like*admittedly a former Dain Hater but no more*. I wait with my hoard of tissues for Thorin to be bopped on the nose.*goes off to cry more from the feels*

DAIIIIN. Glad you changed your mind 😀

I am thrilled you like my character depictions – thank you so very much! *hands over the tissues* Ahhhhh, sorry sorry sorryyyyyy *hugs you* SORRY. Also THANK YOU 😀

I say this without the slightest shred of humor: Dain asking to be buried back in his home actually made me start crying. He’s been so selfless and giving his entire life and I really just connect with his character and this really hit me hard. And just thank you for giving this character a voice and such a beautiful part in your wonderful story, thank you thank you thank you

DAIIIIIIIIN *sobs*

Thank you so much! I love him so very dearly. It means a lot that you love him too. It’s been wonderful to write him, our enduring Iron King, always left behind to carry on. *sniffles* Ohhhh.
