I was going to do fanart for this, but let’s say I completely forgot. Damn my poor memory. Plus I’m a slow ass artist so I probably wouldn’t even finish one art piece before this day. Anyways, so here are my favorite fics:
31. do people know that you read fan fiction? my husband does! (he knows i write it too, and i’ve used him as a ‘beta’ a couple times aslkjklaj) no one else really knows but then again i’m not a big socialite so there aren’t many other people in my life, really, except my fandom friends who know i read it, and some ‘work buddies’ who definitely don’t know. 32. do you leave reviews after reading fics? if so, what do they sound like? OMG yes i do, most of the time, and i flip flop between sounding like this: “LSKJLKSJDLDFJLKDF OMG I’M SCREMAING WTF HOW COULD YOU”, and this: “Wow, this was incredible and amazing and I loved everything about it. Your use of literary device and also this other smart thing you did really made this fic, blah, blablahblah” as a fic writer i appreciate both types of comments, so i hope other authors do too lol
47. if you had to introduce someone to fan fiction with a couple fics, which would you suggest? it is insanely hard to choose. i would send them to my bookmarks. if forced i would say Clarity of Vision by mithen,
Ohhhh that’s pretty cool! Haha, I normally speak quite fast and I sound SO Australian, and that really didn’t jive with how I think Mahal sounds, so I played around with metre and timing and delivery. Before they put the effects on my voice, I sounded a bit like a Galadriel/Elrond hybrid. 😀
(STILL HAVEN’T SEEN AOU – gaaaaaah it is seriously hard to get three hours alone, tbh. Will probs have to wait until it is released online, grrr)
Gimli needed a naked Pointy-Eared Elvish Princeling to go with him. ~I love doing differences in body ratioooooosssss~ So much. It’s such fun. Legolas has some adornments there simply because I wanted him to have *some* pretties and elves do seem to love their fancy jewelry, why not against their skin too?
