I just read the latest chapter and LOST MY SHIT OVER DAIN AND THORIN’S BRO BANTER AND THEN CRIED REAL ACTUAL TEARS OVER THE EREBOR SCENE GODDAMMIT DETS YOU LITERARY GENIUS. The mood whiplash I got from that chapter was insane! (Highlights included the inexplicable pig and the cat- I’m so glad that headcanon made it in)

Also does that mean that the Army of the Dead knew the Dwarven company was there a couple of chapters ago??? and the end happened and i cried. D: what a wonderful chapter!

(And yep, they knew the Dwarves were there. But didn’t really give a hoot, tbh – it’s not like the Dwarves could have done anything. Though the curse upon the mountain made them visible to those with the eyes to see it, they still couldn’t touch anything. 

It was probably a bit amusing for the Dwimorberg host to see all the Dwarves gussying-up with their weapons. What were they gonna fight?)

GDI, DETS! I don’t know how you manage to do it, but you made me cry and laugh in the same bloody sentence! *flails* So much to love about this chapter. Thank you for ending it on such a happy note in the midst of so much death and sorrow.

I’ve got this awful habit of checking tumblr at 2 or 3 in the morning when I can’t sleep. Usually I’m only on for fifteen minutes, but right as I was about to shut it down for the night I realized Sansukh updated. I am going to be SO TIRED at work but it was totally worth it. That chapter made me feel all the feelings. It also made me laugh, and I really needed that this week. Thank you so much for your marvelous work. It means so much to so many people. I hope you know that. :)

Hey so I just wondered if you have any base plan as far as how long you think sansukh is going to end up being?

Basically, Nonnie – I have no idea! I know in a general idea where I want it to end. It will see out the War of the Ring (including the Scouring of the Shire) – ahhh, getting so close now! I am beginning to tie all these disparate themes together now, and phew phew phew it’s all coming to a head!!

It’ll take however long it takes to get to that point I suppose. I don’t intend to drag it on longer than it needs to, though. I really don’t want it to get bogged down and tedious simply because I love it and will miss it. 

I will definitely be expanding upon several things in the Appendices. And once the main fic is finished I will clean up all my character notes and publish them in the Appendices as well!
