Salutations, Det. I’ve a query for you. I won’t be getting started on this project for quite some time but I’m going to be self teaching myself book binding and leather tooling and was curious as to whether or not I could possibly give Sansûkh this treatment once the main fic is completed? I can assure you it would not be for sale. All I’ll do with it is place it in my personal library.

Hi there, Nonnie! Hope you’re having an awesome day.

I don’t have a problem with that at all. Wow, what an amazing thing to learn! I am super impressed – you crafty crafty person!

However, you may wish to contact any artists whose work is embedded in the fic to ensure they are okay with the idea of their art being reprinted.

I’d love to see the finished product! Send me pics!

heeey, I don’t know about about the silm because I haven’t gotten the chance to read it just yet, but in shadow of mordor celebrimbor has a wife and kid. I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade or anything, so sorry if it seems that way, but do you know if celebrimbor actually had a family of if it was just something he game made up? thanks!

Hey! I’m guessing that’s a Shadow of Mordor thing alone?

Tolkien Gateway tends to be fairly accurate, mostly. And it shows its sources for information, which is awesome. There’s no mention of a wife or child there (though it makes mention of the attraction he felt for Galadriel, from Unfinished Tales), and I’ve never come across it in my own reading. I could be wrong though!

Hi! I saw the ask about broadbeam dumpling stew and I was wondering if I could try to make a recipe for the cookies that Gimizh loves. Could I get a description of the cookies to try to make the recipe? Keep up the amazing work!! ♡♡♡

OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS AMAZING YOU ARE AMAZING I am so excited!!

Well, I see them as a chewy biscuit/cookie with dried fruit, sort of like a raisin cookie. The dried fruit because Dwarves would have to learn to preserve food, living in the cold north and not growing their own the way they do.

So, sort of like these?

That’s an oatmeal cookie with raisins, though it could be any fruit I suppose. But the original inspiration came from good ole Anzac biscuits

(THESE ARE BEST WHEN CHEWY. OM NOM NOM I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I COULD EAT THEM ALL YEAR ROUND)

Hi. Just a note to say that I really really enjoy Sansukh. But, I always find myself coming back to your blog specifically because I respect you as a person. You are always kind, considerate, enthusiastic about work you like, and genuinely interesting. That makes me want to know what you think about stuff! So headcanon away!!! We love it! Keep being you because you is great! And inspiring!

Oh, thank you, Nonnie. That is a lovely thing for you to say, and I’m grateful! I do blab a lot (when asked to do so), so the tag to block (for anybody it annoys, or who would rather not see all my musings) is

headcanony things

I’m really not upset, for anybody who is thinking of reassuring me. It’s all good!
