Narvi will not speak of it. She will not. Rumours have persisted through the centuries, debating their relationship: the word ‘friend’ is inscribed there, upon the Doors of Durin, say some.

But if you even mention Khelembrimbur’s name, Narvi goes very still and silent and her eyes are too terrible to look upon, say others. And she will not touch ithildin. Never again.

So, there is no definitive answer. Nobody really knows.

So, we had a discussion about gender and sexuality in my museum class, and I was struck by how a lot of people don’t understand, and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the representation you put in. It means so much.

I think your writing is incredible and I’m constantly amazed every chapter with the thought and care that goes into these characters. But I’m placing myself in the trash heap as I’ve started shipping Laerophen and my own elven oc, sincere apologies.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no worries, Nonnie! I have had people declare that Laerophen, Jeri and/or Merilin are all SHAGGING THEM/THEIR CHARACTER, and I’m all “YEAH DO ITTTT” so, have fun!

if it were possible for me to be in love with a fictional character, I might just be in love with Laerophen. The way he treats Gimizh and Wee Thorin is the sweetest thing, and I can empathize with the withdrawing/acting cold when uncomfortable in new situations, as well as the retreating to libraries!
