Tiny infant and toddler Gloin whose life goal seemed to be to tug on and interact with EVERYTHING he could. Hair. Noses. Clothes. He once grabbed Groin’s nose ring and wouldn’t let go for 20 minutes. Haban laughed a lot.

AWWW. Repeating ‘Nohshe!’ in a loud and cheery voice as he yanked on it, I’ll bet. (The Dwarfling loves to point at face-parts this way. She says, “nohshe! Mouw! Eye! Haaaaair! Eeeeeyah!” and I die from the cuteness of it.)

lmao bby Gloin would have been a HELL of a toddler. Proper howling meltdowns in public places, snot and tears everywhere, arching back and throwing himself onto the floor. He has such a mighty temper, it would have taken a little Dwarf a little while to control it!

Thorin Stonehelm didn’t have much in the way of head hair for his first year or three of life, so that he had a lot of alternative head-coverings. All sorts of little hats, especially woolly ones. Little decorative ribbons. Lots of pig-themed things. Jackets and sweaters with little hoods. It was Adorable. (There were some commissioned sketches/portraits of him done at this stage and Bomfris just lost it when she saw one of him in his little baby gown with pig embroidery, and a big blue ribbon.)
